Make Faceless Motivation AI Videos
Full tutorial how to use AI to make faceless motivation videos, such as Stoic philosophy quotes, using Blotato.com for ideation, video generation, and distribution.
Faceless videos have gained popularity as a viable path to time/money freedom, especially in niches like motivation, finance, and productivity. The idea is to create engaging content without showing your face, which opens up creative possibilities.
In this tutorial, I'll show you step-by-step how to create faceless story videos, using AI for ideation, script writing, image generation, video generation, and publishing.
Caveat:
In my opinion, faceless is just as hard as building a personal brand.
The pros/cons are different. The challenges are different. But I don't like gurus pitching faceless as a get rich quick scheme. It takes work and time, like anything else.
However, Iām bullish on faceless videos because I feel I can be more creative in the storyline, visuals, and formats. Itās another way to express my ideas and creativity, without being confined to my personal brand (AI education).

Niche and Tools
Letās make a faceless video showcasing a Stoic philosophy motivational quote!
Even though itās a competitive niche, I love philosophy and motivation quotes. I have an iPhone widget with a daily quote, I have a small physical desk calendar with a daily quote, and a few birthdays ago, my husband bought me a separate quote display with a few quotes rotating each day.
To research ideas, write scripts, and generate high-quality faceless videos, Iām going to use my app, Blotato.com.

But there are other options:
Autoshorts.ai is great if you want 100% automated story videos. You plug in your prompt for a series and it automatically posts a video every day.
Vsub.io and Crayo.ai are great for reddit stories, fake text messages, minecraft videos, and other viral formats.
Generate Video Script
After logging into Blotato, click āAdd Sourceā and select Perplexity.
Weāre going to use Perplexity to research attention-grabbing Stoic philosophy quotes.
For example: āresearch the top 10 most famous controversial stoic philosophy quotes.ā
After adding this as a source, we want to generate a few draft scripts for our video.
On the right side of Blotato, I click āLoad Prompts from Libraryā and select my faceless motivation prompt. This prompt selects a quote, then expands upon its theme into a short motivational script suitable for faceless TikTok and Reels.
Hereās my prompt:
Complete the following tasks.
1. Choose the most scroll-stopping controversial quote from this list. Output only the quote, with no extra formatting, no quotes, no asterisks, no author.
2. Write a 3-sentence motivational video script, expanding on the quote's main theme. Your writing style is spartan, intellectual, and 5th grade reading level. NEVER use adjectives or adverbs.
# INPUT
Use the following information sources:
{{ source }}
Click āGenerateā.
Blotato takes the research from Perplexity, runs it through my āfaceless motivationā AI writing prompt, and generates a draft video script.
You can easily increase the length/duration of the script by editing the prompt where it says āWrite a 3-sentence motivational video scriptā¦ā
Hit āGenerateā a few more times to get variations.
Then, select the best šļø
Generate Video Shots
Now, it's time to bring it to life with visuals!
Click ā+ Image or Videoā and select āGenerate AI Videoā.
Each sentence in our script will correspond to a 5-second video clip. Pick a theme like grunge or cyberpunk to set the video's tone, and select a voice option for the narration. Blotato integrates with Elevenlabs and OpenAI (cheaper) for voice generation.
Click āGenerate Draft Videoā to enter the editor.
Youāll see the list of shots on the left side.
Each shot corresponds to a sentence from our script.
for each shot, choose the type of content and AI prompts to be used.
Whether using animated images, AI-generated videos, or static images with transitions, your goal is to maintain viewer interest.
Animated images, although more expensive, result in high-quality dynamic clips.
So, I like to use animated images for the 5-10 seconds of the video. To save cost, I recommend using āImage with Zoomā for the remainder of your video.
You can customize both the text-to-image prompts as well as the image-to-video prompts, controlling exactly what visual is shown and how itās animated.
When youāre ready, click āGenerateā to make all the shots.
If you donāt like a particular shot, you can generate a new draft and re-generate it.
This iterative process ensures everything, from visuals to voiceover, aligns with your vision and brand.
After perfecting your video, the final step is to publish it to social platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook Reels, Twitter, etc.
I also do all this within Blotato, however, there are many tools that also handle social media scheduling, such as Buffer and Later.
Within Blotato:
click āCreate a new social media postā
youāll see a draft Tiktok post
click āPublishā
you can publish it now, publish at a specific time, or publish in your next available time slot for that platform
Blotato has a full calendar solution, so you can specify days and times you want to post on Tiktok or Reels, then schedule your faceless videos to go out then.
You can also publish to other platforms like Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter, Pinterest, and coming soon ā Threads and Bluesky!
Optionally, you can publish to a Zapier or Make.com automation via webhook.
Closing Thoughts
Creating faceless videos is pretty fun! Iām excited to experiment with them more.
I also want to integrate more faceless options, e.g. AI avatars and photo slideshows.
If youāre just starting out, I recommend experimenting with the steps Iāve outlined, iterate on your AI image and video prompts, and consistently publish 3 videos a day, doubling down on what works.
