Here's a simple step-by-step playbook to publish your first 5 social posts in 3 minutes:

Step 1: Login

Go to Blotato.

Step 2: Add a Source

To generate content, provide Blotato with a source of information.

A source can be a:

✅ Website or article

✅ YouTube video

✅ TikTok video

✅ Podcast

✅ Audio file

✅ PDF

✅ Perplexity AI prompt

✅ Paste in any text

Let's say you want to create social media posts based on a YouTube video:

1. Find the YouTube video you want to use.

2. Copy the video’s URL.

3. Go back to Blotato and paste the URL into the “Add a Source” field.

4. Click "Add" to upload the source.

Step 3: Select Platforms

Once you've added a source, you need to choose which platforms you want to create content for. Blotato supports various social media channels, including:

Select the platforms where you want to post and click "Generate Posts".

Step 4: Generate Your First 5 Posts

In a few moments, you'll see 5 autogenerated drafts.

Each platform has different content styles and character limits.

You should definitely tweak the drafts to match your voice and brand.

Use the AI writer on the right-hand side for quick edits, such as:

• Remove unnecessary formatting (like asterisks or extra spaces).

• Insert a direct quote from the source (especially useful for YouTube videos).

• Regenerate drafts to get many variations.

Step 5: Add Images and Videos

Visuals often boost engagement, and Blotato makes it easy to add them. You can:

✅ Upload your own images or videos.

✅ Generate AI-powered images or videos.

For example, if you want an eye-catching image for your LinkedIn post, click "Generate Realistic Image", and Blotato will make one in a few moments. If you don’t like the first result, click "Regenerate" to get a new variation or click "Edit Prompt" to edit the AI image prompt.

Step 6: Publish or Schedule Your Posts

Once you're satisfied with your drafts, let’s publish them!

You have multiple options:

✅ Publish Now: Post immediately to your selected platform.

✅ Schedule for Later: Choose a specific date and time for publication.

✅ Next Free Slot: Add the post to your platform's next free slot in your calendar.

You will also need to select which social media accounts you want to post to.

Once published, your posts move to the "Published Posts" screen, where you can track them.

Bonus Tips for Better Content Quality

• Personalize Your Posts: AI-generated content is a great starting point, but adding your own insights, experiences, and opinions makes your content more authentic and stand out.

• Use Platform-Specific Formatting: LinkedIn posts may benefit from bullet points, while Instagram captions should include engaging hooks and hashtags.

• Experiment With Different Styles: If a draft post doesn’t feel right, regenerate it using different prompts to see what works best.
